East Didsbury Pre School

   9.15am and 12.15pm Welcome all children and families.

   9.15am - 10.00am and 12.15pm - 1.00pm Free play session.

   All children have the freedom to play where, with what and with whom they choose.

   Some of the activities that are available - Painting, Gluing, Cutting, Playdough, Jigsaws, a Shop,

   a Home Corner, Cressing up Clothes, Construction Toys, Sit and Ride Toys, Trolleys, Climbing Frame,

   Trampoline, Tunnel, plus a well equipped book corner.

   [We regularly update all of our toys and activites].

   10.00am - 10.20am and 1.00pm - 1.20pm Snack Time.

   The children sit in small groups to enjoy a snack and the time to enjoy some conversation.

   10.20am - 10.30am and 1.20pm - 1.30pm Children and staff sit together as a group for

   songs/ stories.

   10.30am - 11.20am and 1.30pm - 2.20pm Free play session continues with a change of table top toys,

   eg - crayoning, drawing, stickle bricks, popoids, threading, peg boards etc.

   11.20am - 11.30am and 2.20pm - 2.30pm Children play with large floor equipment, 

   eg - train sets, cars, jigsaws, dominos, lotto etc.

   10.30am - 11.45am and 2.30pm - 2.45pm Music/ drama and/ or ring games, parachute, 

   dance and movement.

   11.45am and 2.45pm Home Time

Also each week, we have sessions with musical instruments and local resident pianist.

We have a flexible morning adapted and altered to meet the children's need's.

Outside Agencies

Our pre-school welcomes visits from all our Local Community Services.

These include the Police, Fire Brigade, Dentist, Library, Road Safety and many more.
